Mr. Rael is a veteran real estate professional and Chairman of Rael Development Corporation. With experience that spans more than forty years over multiple real estate cycles, Mr. Rael has first hand knowledge of all facets of real estate investment and ownership, including acquisitions, development, finance, dispositions, leasing and management. Based on years of transaction experience, Mr. Rael has developed a keen investment discipline and financial conservatism. Mr. Rael has resided in Irvine, California for over 40 years where he is actively involved in community.
Mr. Rael is President of Rael Development Corporation and Managing Principal of RDC Capital LLC. A 25-year veteran in the real estate finance, investment and development businesses, Mr. Rael has been integral in shaping Raelcorp’s growth over the last two decades. Prior to assuming his role with Raelcorp, Mr. Rael worked with New York- based Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, where he structured and arranged over $1 billion in equity and debt transactions during his tenure at the firm. Mr. Rael received his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he currently resides with his wife and family.
Mr. Avila has over 25 years of experience in Design, Construction and Development and currently oversees all pre-development, construction management and construction loan administration activities for the firm. Mr. Avila’s diverse knowledge of the construction and development process, as well as his collaborative approach has lead to success across a wide range of real estate projects. Prior to joining Raelcorp, Mr. Avila managed construction projects nationwide, ranging in size from $5 million to $3.9 billion. His experience spans multiple product types including Multifamily, Student Housing, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Mixed Use Developments, Retail, and Hotel & Resort developments both domestic and international. Billy received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design/Architecture from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Hamilton is Vice President of Finance and Controller for Rael Development Corporation and its affiliated entities. Proficient in all functions related to accounting, reporting and taxation, Mr. Hamilton has been a key Raelcorp professional for the last 10 years. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hamilton held senior accounting roles in several top tier Dallas Fort Worth accounting firms, amassing experience in the areas of oil & gas accounting, as well as real estate and investment management. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and resides in Dallas, Texas.
